Moore's, Pepper's, Kuhn's, Irving's, the Bootery, Ledbetters, Parks Belk, First National Bank. Michael Gladney commented: The courthouse in Crossville is an architectural twin to the one we had, although it is made from stone rather than brick. That was the problem with that building, as I understand the bricks absorbed water which leached into the building causing horrific mold. The timbers were all twisted. No telling what it would have cost to make it habitable again, but at least we would have had a centerpiece.
