Santa's little house out front. Remember when he'd come to the square and you'd wait in line and then go inside his little house to sit on his knee and tell him what you wanted? Terry Evans commented: The removal of the courthouse from the square was the beginning of its demise. The structure was sound except for the roof which had been neglected. They day they torn it down Hagan Bros. brought in a crane with a wrecking ball. They hurled the ball at the south side of the structure and the ball bounced back and almost took "Ole Davy" off his podium. They finally ran chains in one window and out the other and pulled the supports out with a front end loader.
